Please join us for an informal evening with dinner and a variety cultural program by our local enthusiasts to celebrate Poila-Baisakh. A reminder that our Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) will also be held that evening to induct the new 2008-09 Committee.

When: Saturday 12th April at 6:30pm.

Due to overwhelming response, we have changed the venue for more capacity. Address of the new venue - 2840 Ave K Suite # 388, Plano, TX 75074.

Directions: Exit Park From 75 N Central Expwy, go East on Park, turn left on Ave K, then turn Right into the strip mall immediately before WhatABurger. The ballroom hall is at the corner of the one-story Senior Health Center Building in the strip mall.

AGM Agenda:

1. Review highlights of the 2007-2008 Financial Statement
2. Propose amendments to the By-Laws of Constitution
3. Present current nominations and elect candidates for the 2008-2009 Committee

Program:

• 6:30PM - Registration
• 7:00PM - Cultural Segment - Songs, Recitation
• 7:30PM - AGM
• 8:30PM - Dinner
• 9:30PM - Cultural segment - Sitar Recital

Contributions: $5 per person (free for kids under 6) to partially cover costs.
