Dance Workshop By Jhinook Mukherjee of Kolkata

BA-DFW is arranging a DANCE workshop during the month of June by Jhinook Mukherjee, Bharat Natyam dance exponent, visting from Kolkata. Jhinook has been practicing Bharat Natyam under the tutelage of famous Guru Smt. Thankamany Kutty for the last 23 years. She is an active member of Kalamandalam, Kolkata's performing wing with experience of performing in numerous prestigious stage shows in India and abroad. She runs a dance school in Kolkata, "Nrityangan" with fifty students, and has executed many work shops in India and abroad on Bharat Natyam, folk and Western dances.

Jhinook Mukherjee's worksop will train the participants (all age groups welcome) in Contemporary items (Fusion and Classical based) and culminate with a stage show. Interested candidates please contact Subhendu Lahiri at 972-335-7912 or Aparna Saha at 817-845-8542.
