Saraswati Puja - 2008

 

The new year is here, the chill of winter is almost over. Soon spring will be here, and it will be time to welcome our Goddess of knowledge, music and the arts. BADFW will celebrate Saraswati Puja at the DFW Hindu Temple Cultural Center on February 9th. We wish to welcome you with open arms to the Puja, and we hope you know that we believe no celebration is successful without your participation and support. Please do join us.

VoYagers - Youth Group Program

In honor of the Goddess of knowledge, our Youth Group - The VoYagers will be collecting school supplies in support of a local charity. Please kindly bring some school supplies to the Puja to support our youth in this effort.

Featured Programs

SamaKaal, a 9-member group of singers and musicians, with a huge repertoire of old and new Bengali, Hindi and Western songs will be here to entertain you for the guest artist segment. Among many other talented performers, SamaKaal features musicians from the renowned bands ChandraBindoo and JatuGriha. In addition, Mayuri Ray from Phoenix will be here to sing some of her melodious Bengali and Bollywood tracks.
